Q: I really enjoy performing CBT on my husband. We don't have a lot of money so we can't afford a lot of devices so we make do with what we have is that bad? I do sounds a little but we don't have a real sound so we make do. I want to start sticking needles in his balls but I am not sure how to start.

A: Handmade CBT devices are never a bad thing as long as you consider the safety of each device. Many of the more popular devices sold are from handmade but now mass produced.

Medical implements on the other hand such as sounds have a reason they are made from metal, most surgical steel. Metal can be sterilized and cleaned with alcohol. Smooth rods such as knitting needles that are made from metal can be sterilized/cleaned with alcohol prior and then inserted with Surgi lube which is a sterile lubricant that should be used for urethral insertion/sounding. After you are finished, have him urinate so any excess lubricant is flushed from the urethra which will help again infection. Anything you insert into the body must be sterile or the risk of infection is increased. Knitting needles, alcohol and sterile lubricant can be bought inexpensively from places like Walmart. If you have a little cash to spend on Ebay or Amazon, you can find a set of urethral sounds for about $25.

Needle insertion can be a bit more expensive because you must use hypodermic needles that are disposable. Sewing needles do much more damage and has far greater risks so the hypodermic needles are a must. For testicle insertions, start with a smaller gauge needle such as a 27g or 26g. Diabetic needles are typically 30g which can be used at first. After you have explored and feel more comfortable, you can work yourself up to larger gauges such as 22g or even much larger to a 18g. Length of needles should only be long enough to insert into 1 testicle but not completely thru it inside of the scrotum unless you are doing skewering which depending on your husband’s size, could be a 4 inch needle. At 4 inches, the needle can completely go thru both testicles and the scrotum safely. These must be ordered and can be pricy. Limit your first couple of times exploring testicle needle insertion to 2 needles into each testicle then as you become more experienced, push to more needles. 06-15-2011: From time to time I receive email from those just discovering certain fetishes that I have quite a bit of experience and knowledge about, looking for answers to their questions. Many times they are barely adults, trying to understand and deal with handling their hidden desires yet trying to explore them in secrecy. Worrying about what their family and friends will think of them if their desires would become known to them. Trying to explore but not having the ability to purchase correct equipment because of either the lack of funds or not having access to a private mailing address for things to be shipped to. I have decided to answer from My own experiences these questions today.

I'd love to say that you won't be judged on what kind of lifestyle you want to live, whether that be an ordinary vanilla lifestyle or Dominant/submissive focused lifestyle. We are judged by others on a daily basis on much less than that but I feel if you are comfortable with someone, be it a family member or friend...share with them if you want to, if you don't that is your choice. Frankly, if they want you to be happy they will care about you whatever choice you make as long as you are happy. It all boils down to how comfortable you are to share that part of you. Thankfully for Myself after too many years of simply sharing that part of Me with others that shared My choice of lifestyle, I was able to live this part of Me openly without worry but that came from realizing this is My life and I will live it however I wish.

Buying locally fetish related items or making due with what you have...

With equipment, having a good imagination does help plus many things can be found at your local stores. Just a few examples that I can think of off the top of My head are....

Castration fetish: A burdizzo or elastrator can be purchased at your local Farm & Feed store or even at some Hardware stores.

CBT: Weights that can be used for ball stretching can be found anyplace that sells Fishing equipment. I've found 16oz and 3oz weights that is used for fishing that can easily be used to attach to the balls via rope/belt. Just make sure you work up slowly instead of putting a ton of weight on right from the start or you could do damage.

CBT: Padlocks can be used on the balls for stretching since they come in various sizes. Smaller padlocks can even be used on the cock head for chastity.

CBT: 2 smooth pieces of wood makes a great ball press. If you want to be able to see your balls pressed, Plexiglass works wonders. These items again can be found at hardware stores.

CBT: Wide rubber bands can be used for banding which yes is a form of CBT and Castration fetish.

CBT/Medical: Knitting needles comes in various sizes and are made of aluminum which can be easily sterilized then used for sounding. Sounding is used to stretch the urethra. Make sure you use a sterile lube which can be found at most pharmacies.

As most of you know that has used My contact form located at My contact form, there is a link specifically for other Dominants/Tops to contact Me directly without filling out the contact form. I have always welcomed other Dominants/Tops to contact Me about either sending their property to Me for help with various shared interests or to answer their questions about the various more taboo/extreme interests of Mine. Perhaps it's inexperience with talking with another Dominant/Top or just plain stupidity but when interacting with another Dominant/Top there are a couple of common courtesies that you should remember.....

1.) When addressing another Dominant or Top directly, First Names or a Scene/Online Profile Name is normally used. Referring to yourself as Ms, Master, Mistress or Goddess whatever are NOT normally used. There are exceptions to this but in general the above is true. These labels are a sign of respect or to attempt to place yourself above the person you are directly talking to thus you do NOT normally use this when directly interacting with another Dominant or Top.

2.) In the early days of Chat there was the BBSs (Bulletin Board Systems) of the 80's/early 90's or #mIRC (Internet Relay Chat) for Windows in the mid 90's that those that shared similar interests would use to connect. There was others I'm sure but I didn't use those. Within these early forums, some would use upper capitalization of a Dominant's/Top's name/Scene Name or when referring to the Dominant/Top (Her/Him/She/He) as a sign of respect. Lower case letters used in the same manner identified a submissive/slave or bottom and was also used by some Dominants/Tops to remind their sub/slave or bottom that they was beneath the Dominant/Top. When Dominants/Tops would chat with each other, capitalization was never used because there was no need since they was equal to each other.

Since these early means of connection, most do not use this basic system of identification. Some of us still continue to though because of habit like Myself or someone coming into the BDSM online scene ran across someone else using this system and thought it was a great way to demonstrate their dominance/submission. Who knows, perhaps some even came into the BDSM online scene thinking is was common practice.

My point to the above explanation of this basic identification system is simply this.....as a Dominant, do NOT use Upper caps when referring to yourself when contacting another Dominant or Top. It is considered rude.

Now that I have explained a couple of common courtesies, if the Dominant Inquiry email is used follow the above suggestions or you will not get a reply. I personally find it utterly annoying but do understand some may simply not have the experience with interacting with another Dominant/Top so now that you have this, use it when making contact.
